Comfortable stay for arriving at Ho Chi Minh

It was very close to the airport which i required after 39 hour journey from the uk, the room was spacious and the air conditioning worked like a dream

the room has a dusty feel to it as if it wasnt cleaned properly, the shower was not that warm (it was a warm day outside so a cold shower was needed anyway). The staff speak little to no English and for a hotel so close to the airport this was very suprising

Good value close to the airport in Saigon.

I was able to walk to to and from the airport with my suitcase. The traffic a bit challenging but it was doable.

I was not aware that breakfast was available until reading about the “fluffy eggs” in this questionaire.

Good Wifi in the room. One small free waterbottle as a wellcome gift. Good location near the airport, but a little tricki to find. Cause on google map is it shown near the main street, but it is a little more far away. Friendly personal.

Dust under the bed. The mattress was a little to hard for me. Dirty looking sheet and bath maton one side - i think it was washed but the discoloration did not come out. The english from the staff was not so good, but they were still friendly :) Payment only per cash available.

My vacation is wonderful.

My vacation is wonderful. I chose GIC to take a break on this trip. I like the hospitality here, the friendliness of all the staff here. The furniture in the room is very clean and very new. I will definitely come back next time.

Clean, conveniently located just a couple of minutes from the airport.

Difficult to find by taxi drivers as the building is tucked hidden away in an alleyway, not seen from the main road. 5/5 times the driver was not able to navigate to it. Calls were needed. Wasted a lot of time on this aspect. Also the facility was careless with the cleaning. They left the floor in the room wet with no warning and twice my father slipped and nearly injured himself. He is old and we had asked the first time to be careful given his age. Lastly the management required cash payment. And asked for it in multiple payments given my fathers stay was one month. We had to negotiate with them and tell them we could easily leave and find a different hotel if they did not trust us to pay when we checked out. Not very professional. And what kind of hotel only takes cash?! Ridiculous! The staff never behaved mean to us but the actions still reflected the lack of professionalism I would expect of a hotel that services international travelers. For this reason I do not recommend this hotel.

Convenient and clean place to stay near the airport.

The hotel is close enough to the airport to walk. I got offered a share in a taxi so didn't walk - cost to me was 50,000 dong. It's a new hotel and my room was very large. It included a dining table, a dressing table, and refrigerator. The room was clean [although the cleaner obviously didn't see the half-used shampoo bottle left on a high window sill in the bathroom]. The manager understood my concerns about noise from the internal pipe well and the TV in the ground floor was turned off.

The surfaces are all hard so noises in the corridor easily carry into the room. For a while some children were playing loud games in the corridor but this didn't go on too long. My room had an internal pipe and services well going from at least ground floor up to the top of the building. Instead of being bricked over it has a window. That window has no curtain so light from the well as well as noises from the other floors also come in. The bed is hard! There is no wifi in the room. This is stated on the introduction to the room but might be overlooked as most hotels in this price range in Vietnam provide wifi in the room free of charge.

I almost had to check in at an other hotel because the night guard was sleeping...not in the reception area, but probably in one of the guest rooms and couldn't hear me around 0200 in the night. Very, very unpleasant! Just when I was to give up a sleepy person appeared in the reception and let me in. The mattress is like sleeping on a concrete floor. No news channels on TV in English. Avoid apartment/hotels like this if you want to keep your good mood.

Khách sạn tốt hơn so với mong đợi, thích hợp để nghỉ lại trước khi ra sân bay.

Phòng rộng, giường rộng rãi, sạch sẽ. Gần sân bay nhưng phòng cách âm tốt.

Nắp cống thoát nước trong phòng tắm nên được dọn sạch tóc trước khi đón khách mới. Nệm hơi cứng.
